Yoga for kiteboarders will continue to meet every Friday at 6:00 pm on Tybee Island. If you are interested in joining this class then please contact us and let us know that you will be attending. Your first class is free. After that you will need to purchase classes off of our site.

We’re Getting A Sensor! 

With the help of local Tybee Island kiters, A.O.K and members of Weatherflow, an iKitesurf wind sensor will be installed at the north and south end of Tybee Island next week.  

The installation of a wind sensor on Tybee will allow kiters who don’t live on the island to actually “see” what the wind is doing. This will save a lot of local kiters time and money spent on gas.   If you’re a kiter who lives in downtown Savannah you know exactly how frustrating it can get to drive all the way out to Tybee and find that there is NO WIND!

The sensor is planned to be installed this Tuesday, May 26, 2009.  Anyone who signed up will have full access to the sensor and all the features on ikitesurf.  Thanks to everyone who helped us get this sensor installed!
